It is called so because of its flat structure and smooth surface.
It can have terminals at one end or both ends.
It comprises high grade nichrome wire which is insulated in refractory / mica which is
known for its high thermal conductivity. Mica is also sheathed in rust resisting steel.
Striped heater is widely used in ovens, hydrollic presses, process machine, drums, dies,
platens, pipelines, rolls, kettles, tanks, cylinders and industrial drying. |

The basic element used in finned strip heaters is strip heater with locked-on fins.
This finned strip has a large surface that provides fast heat transfer to air.
The large range of finned striped heater provides a wide range of air blast and convention.
This heater is best to be used for mounting across air steam with-in forced air ducts,
blower units, ovens, dryers, principally duct and original equipment |
